I’ve been a subscriber to FabFitFun for almost a year. In this year, I have received some amazing items that are perfect for travel. In fact, I take them on every trip now!
Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw
This blanket is super soft and light enough to pack. I get cold pretty much everywhere I go. Especially on planes. This blanket is perfect for throwing in my carry-on for a flight. I love this throw so much, I ordered another one with the spring box add ons to have as a spare!
Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case
This case is so perfect for packing all of your makeup and accessories. My favorite thing about this case is the top zippered section where you can store all of your makeup brushes. I have plenty of makeup bags (thank you Clinique bonus time!) but none of my bags had a separate spot for my brushes. The plastic piece that holds them in place also keeps the brushes from getting the rest of the bag dirty. And it keeps the bristles from getting bent during your trip.
Free People Understated Leather Eye Mask
This mask has a cooling insert to help with puffiness. And while you can’t necessarily use that on a flight, the mask itself is amazing at blocking out light to help you sleep. If you’re traveling with this, I would take the insert out before you pack as this may violate the TSA’s regulations on liquid. If you still want to take the insert with you, I would pack it in your checked luggage just to be safe.
Vince Camuto Luck Tote
My new favorite “personal item” piece. This is the bag I use as my purse when traveling. It’s big enough to fit everything I need but small enough to still fit under the seat. And it’s lightweight so your shoulders won’t be aching after carrying it around all day. As long as you don’t pack it with jars of spare change that is!
Catherine Malandrino Umbrella
I absolutely love this umbrella. It’s cute and compact and opens with minimal effort. Just push the button. It fits nicely inside the Luck Tote also!
CYLO Cobra Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds
These are perfect for listening to music on the plane or just trying to drown out everything going on around you while you try to get some shut eye. And you don’t have to worry about getting tangled in the cord while you try to sleep.
H Halston Jewelry Portfolio
This is perfect for keeping your necklaces from tangling and keeping your jewelry all in one place. The only downside is that you can’t put really bulky statement necklaces in the portfolio as it’s pretty thin and will not zip up. I have tried! But I love that it has a dedicated spot for earrings. I can’t tell you how many earrings I’ve lost while traveling. Hopefully not any more!
Richer Poorer Reina Over the Knee Textured Socks
These are the perfect socks for traveling. They are so very comfortable and look great with boots. They’re also great for just lounging around in.
Snuggie Compression Socks
It goes without saying that you should probably invest in a good pair of compression socks for any long distance flight. And no, compression socks are not just something that your grandparents wear! Compression socks are extremely helpful at preventing blood clots in your legs when you’re sitting for such a large period of time. And you don’t have to be a certain age for blood clots to happen. Think that long flights don’t really affect you? Try wearing a pair of flip flops on a long flight and take a look at your ankles after you get off the plane. I did that once and my ankles were the size of grapefruits! Plus, these socks are super comfortable as well and really that’s what you want on a long flight. As much comfort as you can get!
I’m sure that as I continue to receive more FabFitFun boxes, I’ll be adding more items to this list. What are some of your favorite items for traveling? What are your go to items for making long flights more comfortable?
